railways,with Harbin as the hub , stretches more than
1,000 li wide and far. To the south, by Harbin --Changchun
Line,one can directly reach Beijing--capital of China
and Shanghai--the largest city in China; to the north,
Bin-Bei line leads to the trade frontier city--Heihe,
across the Song-Nen Plains; to the west and east, the
two lines ( Harbin--ManzhouLi、 Harbin--Suifenhe), connect
themselves with Great Siberia Railway crossing Russia
as the golden channel, linking up Asian-European continent;Harbin--Lalin
line goes through Jiaohe to Tumen, by which one can
also get to D.P.R Korea, and Suihua--Jiamusi line from
Suihua through Taoshan is the traffic artery by which
Heilongjiang Province's coal, lumber, soybean and sorghum
